Numark's hdmix is an all in one digital dj system, with a three channel mixer being the control centre piece and an 80 gb replaceable hard drive coupled with a cd drive at its core. The hdmix has a traditional three channel mixing interface, which offers a traditional crossfader, three band eq on each channel as well as jog wheels for audio control and manipulation and and effects section for a superb enhanced performance, the user can also loop audio from any of the sources, as well as mix and control audio from the hard drive, or cd drive, just as you do with traditional mixing stations. However, the cd drive is not just included for performance playback, it can be used for ripping music directly to the internal hard-drive eliminating the need for dj's to transport cd's. The hdmix includes usb 2.0 and is compatible with mac and pc computer platforms for direct transfer from your computer. The hdmix also allows the user to record directly to the hard drive from any input source, including the ability to record a live performance while in action. Providing full support for mp3, wma, wav, ogg vorbis, and flac (lossless) formats a dj can dramatically reduce the volume/weight of the music library they transport thus making their work easier. The new hdmix station offers track search by artist, album, song, genre, and bpm. Additional inputs are provided for connecting additional line sources or turntables so it can be incorporated into your existing setup with ease. Outputs include master xlr balanced as well as unbalanced and booth outputs for ultimate compatibility.
